Currently, at this point in time, the prices of chickens has take a drastic turn. Fear not dear friends as we have made the adjustment to go with the current market trends. Also..in the news…V11 items will no longer be supported. It is all about the V12. Fear not! You can, currently at the writing of this post, update your V11 eggs/chickens to V12 using an updater (free in Sion Vendors).

What does this mean for the Lush Farms? Currently we have boxed up a LOT of V11 eggs & V11 items for you, the consumer. You can still update the eggs while you can with an updater. I am a tad bit too much of a lazy drunkard to do this so I am passing the savings on to you for the time you spend updating them to V12. (Make sure you get an updater before purchase so you don’t have any issues. You can get them for free, currently, in Sion Vendors.)

We currently have a MASSIVE amount of LIVE chickens for sale at this point in time. Two ancients (1 male & 1 female), Two perfects (1 male & 1 female), as well as 10 other NW & Orig. lives for sale. All of breeding age at low prices to reflect the current market trend. We always base our prices on a few particular markets & the lowest sale price allowed by them. This helps to cut down on any issues on price. We are always willing to bargain if you are up for it.

V12 & SionCorn Out!

Both SionCorn & V12 have come out this week. The update to V12 isn’t confusing it just takes a little reading & understanding to know whats going on.

To update your chickens to V12 it is absolutely free. Pick up an updater at any Sion Vendor. Place the disk next to a chicken you need to update. Click the disk. Poof..it updates your chicken to V12 very fast. The same goes with all V11 eggs. Place egg (not in proteggtor) next to disk. Click disk. Poof..updated. The new twist to the V12 egg is that they decay. Eggs are now only good for 1440 hrs (60 days) before they are no longer good. There are some new rare breeds & twists to the V12. V12 chickens can eat V11 food right now. V11 rings will work with V12 eggs. I put the official notecards about the V12 in my store for anyone to grab a copy & understand the new V12 updates better.

The corn takes a bit of understanding, reading, & LOTS of patience. Corn supplies can be found in any SionCorn vendor. You need to have the prims & the space to be able to grow corn. I’ve also put the notecards in my store if you don’t have a copy of it already. Since corn just came out we are still in the growing process (takes about 30 days).  Corn conversion to food, feeding to chickens, & rare food rare breed has yet to be tried. When we start getting corn from our crop we’ll talk more about it.

New Main Farm!

We did it! We have moved our farm to a larger location to better serve the Second Life community. You can find the new mainstore HERE. In addition to the Live Chickens, Eggs, Coops, & Other Items we have always sold on our farm we have also added a bunch of new items for sale as two new areas to the farm. On the main floor of our large farm building you can find the V.I.C. Lounge. This stands for Very Important Chicken. Here you can grab some vodka to drink, relax in our cool lounge on a comfy couch & hang out with our current high end/rare Chicken that is looking to go home with someone special.

On the second floor (teleport next to main entrance) you can teleport up to the Tipsy Chicken Bar. A small bar where you can hang out, have your choice of various whiskeys, some food, dance the tango, & hang out with Black Velvet the black rooster. Very intimate & small & quiet place where you can grab a quick drink before you move on to the busy world of Second Life.

These are just a few of the new things you will discover when you come & visit our new main farm location. Freel free to visit us again & again as our live chickens are always changing as well as new surprises.

We currently have a V11 Lagless Scarce Male Tipsy Chicken for sale. His name is Dirty Martini. Newly hatched & hanging out in our farmers market stall. He is Olive (RGB <133,133,0>) & Blue <0,0,242> Straight sale.  Please remember to use a transport box to take your lil scarce tipsy chicken as he will die if you just put him in your inventory. (Sharp pointy things in your inventory will kill your chicken. Must use a transport box as to not kill them. Not responsible for those who do not follow this & directly take chicken into inventory. Please don’t kill this rare drunken lil chicken boy).

How did Dirty Martini get his name? Well..funny you should ask (or wonder, or even ponder, or whatever).  I have just (as of today) finished dealing with 3 weeks of either being out of town or having people in town. Ahh..sweet relaxation. I get to go on & really work on farm stuff today. What is this I see?  A bright little fella peeping away at me & drinking a martini. Hello there..what is this? A tiny little scarce chicken drinking a martini. I shall name thee (drum roll please) Dirty Martini. You were a complete drunken surprise to me. From your scarce nature to the fact that you really seem to enjoy your martini’s. (Trust me..he’s gone through QUITE a few since birth). Dirty because you snuck up on me little man. Dirty pool. Dirty because a dirty martini is usually made with olive juice or brine the drink, giving the martini a slightly cloudy appearance (as your taste in drinks seem to run). Perfect! You being a martini drinking. Me just loving booze in general. You surprising me with your bright (& slightly tipsy) appearance. Me who uses a martini as the SLA Review logo. So let’s toast this surprise of the day & have a drink.

Today is Adoption Tuesday. For ease of Tipsy Chicken adoption we have a few chicks already boxed & ready to be taken home. Every Tipsy Chick (excluding the two behind the barn) are up for adoption with adoption specials today. Outside of their cages you will find a special adoption kit for only 10L. Each kit includes a transport kit, care directions for your new chick & a toy. We also have special New Wave mystery egg packs (chicken care directions, toy, mystery nw egg) that can be found upstairs with our transport/chicken info kits & coops. Only 200L!

Out Of Town

I will be out of town visiting family from June 24th- July 2nd. I will be on Second Life with new chickens to adopt & taking care of all business but it will be all hours of the day & night.
